The Atlanta Underground Music Awards Show & Conference were created to acknowledge and honor the achievements of unsigned independent artists, producers, promoters and many others. Nominees are voted for by their peers and are evaluated based on attributes such as originality, longevity, lyricism, social impact on the community, artistic skills, consistency, charisma, versatility, vocal presence, live performance, flow and delivery. The AUMA, which will be recorded live, is scheduled for Saturday, September 15 – 17, 2011 at the Georgia World Conference Center. We expect that five thousand plus people will be in attendance. This event will be a star-studded mega musical show featuring performances by nominees, independent and major record label artists, and appearances by film and fashion celebrities.
